Independent Catalyst was founded by Lance Thomas in 2002. At a time when the Big 5 was shrinking, and companies were trying to figure out what was next, focusing on putting the right people in the right places became difficult for large organizations. Independent Catalyst is, and has always been, able to focus specifically on finding excellent resources, and intelligent clients, and marrying the two.
At Independent Catalyst, we feel strongly in the ideas of honesty, transparency and integrity. We do not believe in overselling, or trying to make a square peg fit into a round role. We pride ourselves on focusing not only on the skills you can find on a resume, but also on the professionalism and ability to work well with others. We also try to be frank and truthful with both our clients and our consultants, even when things may not be a good match.

Lance Thomas - Founder and President
Lance began his career as a consultant for Andersen Business Consulting. After several years leading PeopleSoft implementations, he became an Independent Consultant, and launched Independent Catalyst. While Lance has continued to provide client implementation services, he has also found his calling for matching other highly skilled consultants to clients needing IT services.

Megan (Mueller) Dagiantis - Director
Megan also started her career as a consultant for Andersen Business Consulting. She later joined KPMG Consulting/BearingPoint and continued to provide implementation expertise and Project Management skills for various types of PeopleSoft implementations and upgrades. Megan joined Independent Catalyst in 2011, in an effort to focus more time on clients and consultants and help Lance continue to expand the company and deliver high quality services.
